Abstract: Zusammenfassung Internationale Pflegefachkräfte sind ein strukturbestimmender Faktor der Personalarchitektur im Gesundheitswesen. Ihr Mehrwert entsteht nicht aus Herkunft, sondern aus der institutionellen Gestaltung ihrer Einbindung. Versorgungsqualität, Patientensicherheit und Wirtschaftlichkeit hängen von der Kopplung zwischen Qualifikation, Aufgabenverteilung, Kommunikation und Entwicklung ab. Deutlich wird, wie Organisationen Diversität in stabile Leistungsfähigkeit überführen können.
