Abstract: Zusammenfassung Pflegepraxis vollzieht sich wesentlich über Sprache. Versorgungssicherheit entsteht durch präzise Kommunikation, Dokumentation und interprofessionelle Abstimmung. Sprachlich-kommunikative Handlungssicherheit beeinflusst Qualität und Patientensicherheit maßgeblich. Kommunikationsfehler zählen zu den zentralen Ursachen vermeidbarer Schadensereignisse. Damit wird erkennbar, warum Sprachkompetenz eine professionelle Kernvoraussetzung darstellt und über Zertifikate hinausgeht.
