Chapter 6 in The Theory of Algebraic Number Fields, 1998, pp 41-52 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract In Chapter 2 we gave a full treatment of the laws concerning the divisibility of numbers in an algebraic number field. We now pass on to develop some additional results in which the concept of absolute value plays an essential rôle. The most important tool for this investigation is the following result (Minkowski (3)).
