Chapter Kapitel 7 in Mathematik im Mittelalter, 2016, pp 281-328 from Springer

Abstract: Zusammenfassung Die erste Zeile der Florenzer Handschrift lautet: Incipit lib. abaci composuit a Leonardo filio bonacci pisano (Es beginnt das Buch Liber Abaci, geschrieben von Leonardo, Sohn des Bonacci, aus Pisa). Wie ersichtlich, ist der Name Fibonacci nicht historisch, er wurde erst später, 1838, von dem Historiker Guglielmo Libri geprägt. Hier soll daher der Name Leonardo (Abb. 7.1) verwendet werden.
