Mathematics as the substructure of Leibniz’s metaphysics

Herbert Breger ()

Chapter Chapter 7 in Kontinuum, Analysis, Informales – Beiträge zur Mathematik und Philosophie von Leibniz, 2016, pp 91-103 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract It is generally known that philosophy and mathematics are closely interconnected in Leibniz’s works. But, as far as I am aware, the relations have almost always been explained using isolated examples and have been demonstrated with individual, repeatedly quoted statements. I would like to attempt to sketch out a larger and connected view.
