Abstract: Zusammenfassung Der These von der besten Welt hat Leibniz auch eine ästhetische Formulierung gegeben: Gott hat alles nach der vollkommensten Schönheit, die möglich ist, geschaffen (GP VII, 74, 76). Insoweit der Mensch schöne Wahrheiten begreift, ist er ein Spiegel der Schönheit Gottes (GP VII, 114).
