Abstract: Zusammenfassung Die deutschen Medien sind voll von Klagen über teure Mieten. Aber die Mieten in einer Gemeinde schwanken ganz enorm. Wie weist man hier sinnvoll einen Durchschnitt aus? Der Gesetzgeber bringt hier Mietspiegel ins Spiel. Aber die sind aus Sicht der Statistik ein wahres Minenfeld.
