Abstract: Zusammenfassung Latente Variablen sind die statistische Entsprechung von Konzepten wie z. B. Bildung oder Intelligenz. Mittlere Verläufe von latenten Variablen werden modelliert, um Zuwächse oder Abnahmen für einen typischen Schüler zu beschreiben. Individuelle Abweichungen vom mittleren Verlauf werden in der Modellierung ebenfalls berücksichtigt.
