Abstract:
Abstract Pencils of quadrics can be classified by means of the number, type, and configuration of singular quadrics in the pencil. The generic pencil of quadrics contains four singular quadrics which are quadratic cones. The thirteen types of pencils will be discussed in detail in this section.
