The Company
Thomas Schneider ()
Chapter Chapter 3 in Tools of Effective Compliance, 2023, pp 11-24 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The company, its relationship to society, the understanding of legality and legitimacy, ultimately the corporate culture, long predate the establishment of a compliance organization. Certainly, the CO will influence these matters, but must first face the existing reality and ultimately answer the question of whether the company is the right one and he can implement his understanding of compliance. On this basis, possibilities and limits of activity are delineated. Whether and how the suggestions of the following chapters can be implemented, where support can be expected and where resistance slows down, complicates or makes implementation impossible is decided here.
