Chapter Chapter 1 in Boardroom 2030, 2025, pp 1-13 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract It is a decade of global instability: AI, skills shortage, climate change, crises—ever new trends and developments lead to major changes in the economy. While companies secure their core business in the face of unexpected events and risks, they are simultaneously preparing their future business models. For supervisory boards, it means navigating through increasingly complex decision-making structures in the core business together with the management and board, and simultaneously accompanying them in ever faster transformations for the future. Driving both simultaneously requires “ambidexterity”—both from the operational management level and from the supervisory board.
