Abstract:
Abstract This chapter presents the proposed general heuristic problem-solving procedure for solving complex decision problems. First, its benefits are presented. This is followed by an overview of the proposed sequence of steps and subproblems. The steps are then briefly explained (A detailed description of the steps is given in Chaps. 7 – 9 .). The chapter concludes with a presentation of the basis of the procedure, particularly of the underlying heuristic principles.
