Chapter Chapter 2 in The Perfect Employee Journey and Experience, 2026, pp 5-17 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract In this chapter, we address the fundamentals, definition, and significance of the Employee Journey. We illustrate the phases of the Employee Journey and discuss the first important topics in this context. From our perspective, the corporate and leadership culture, along with the associated mindset of company leaders and managers, forms the foundation for a successful Employee Journey, which is why we examine this topic in greater detail. Furthermore, the topic of New Work holds a special place in this book. Therefore, in this chapter, we begin with a differentiated examination of the key terms associated with it, which we will revisit in each chapter on the various phases of the Employee Journey.
