Abstract:
Abstract A vortex properties deduced has been used to validate a simple vortex model of turbulence, in which the vortices move like point vortices. The intention in this paper is to discuss the restricted subject of two-dimensional vortex motion. I deal with the dynamics of a system of point vortices in two-dimensional flow field and discuss a few points about generation and dissipation of coherent structure in these system.
