Abstract:
Abstract Regression analysis deals with estimating the value of dependent variable on the basis of one or more independent variables. To do so, an equation is developed between dependent and independent variables by means of least square method. When the estimation is done on the basis of one independent variable, the procedure is known as simple regression, and if the estimation involves more than one independent variable, it is referred to as multiple regression analysis.
