Chapter Chapter 8 in Sequence Spaces and Measures of Noncompactness with Applications to Differential and Integral Equations, 2014, pp 263-310 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter is devoted to present some results concerning both the theory of nonlinear integral equations in some Banach spaces and a few existence results concerning infinite systems of integral equations in some sequence spaces. More precisely, we will consider certain results concerning the solvability of a quadratic integral equation of Volterra type and an integral of Volterra–Stieltjes type. In our considerations we will apply some measures of noncompactness described in Chap. 5 . We investigate also the solvability of infinite systems of integral equations of both types indicated above.
