Abstract: Abstract Hoezeer ook verwacht mag worden dat de bestuurder van een ziekenhuis een alleskunner is, het is vrijwel niemand gegeven om aan al deze voorwaarden te voldoen. Ook de bestuurder die zich op het tweede echelon en in de raad van toezicht omringt met uiterst capabele mensen is kwetsbaar. Daarom pleiten wij voor een meerhoofdig bestuursmodel.
