Falling Factorial Polynomials of Generalized Fibonacci Type

A. F. Horadam

A chapter in Applications of Fibonacci Numbers, 1990, pp 139-153 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract In [4], the author extended the work of Asveld [2] for his Fibonacci-type sequence of polynomials G n by means of the polynomials H n (hereafter relabelled H n to avoid confusion with Asveld’s later symbolism which he used in [3]), and Pell numbers. The nature of the polynomials G n , and H n and H n is detailed in (2.4), (2.5), and (2.6) respectively.
