Abstract:
Abstract The models of electric conduction in neurophysiology and electrocardiology do not take into account that the characteristic of the oscillators involved are non linear polydromic functions of the potential. Such a kind of differential equations do not seen to have been yet studied in the literature, especially in relation to the mentioned conduction problem. The paper deals with an equation of this kind arising in a one dimensional conduction model and discusses the conditions for the existence of a solution with preassigned characteristics starting from physical constraints. The construction of the solution is left to a future paper.
