Abstract:
Summary Hybrid formulations designed to generate either statically or kinematically admissible finite element solutions are presented. Consistency is ensured through Static-Kinematic Duality. The elastic-plastic analysis of a deep, simply supported beam is used to illustrate the performance of the formulations being suggested.
