A chapter in Semigroups and Their Applications, 1987, pp 133-138 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Analogs of the Cayley theorem for groups are considered for various classes of semigroups. First for the class of all semigroups, then for inverse semigroups and for regular semigroups over right normal bands. A problem is proposed on the Cayley type theorems for other classes of semigroups. In particular, a step toward solving this problem for completely regular semigroups is provided by a Cayley theorem for completely simple semigroups.
