Chapter 38 in Selected Papers of Demetrios G. Magiros, 1985, pp 446-454 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract In this paper, the angular momentum vector of a space vehicle at the end of spin-up is determined. Use is made of the concept of the helicoid precession, which characterizes the rotational motion of the vehicle during the action of a constant thrust acting on the vehicle.
