A chapter in Quality of Communication-Based Systems, 1995, pp 19-34 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract The paper describes a new mathematical structure able to model the dynamics of complex systems such as object communities. The states of the system is modeled by configuration algebras. Evolutions allow the system to change his current state via state updating and object creation/deletion. The dynamic behavior is induced from the static specification of classes.
