Abstract:
Abstract As the name suggests, fuzzy sets are related to sets. We shall therefore first of all give a short overview of the basics of “elementary set theory”. It is not our purpose to introduce these concepts in a highly rigorous way, rather we like to present this material in a leisurely fashion, adapted to our purposes.
