Abstract:
Abstract The MOVI 1.0 (Multicriteria Optimization and Vector Identification) software package was designed to apply the Parameter Space Investigation (PSI) method to engineering problems. Using MOVI 1.0, one can utilize the entire potential of the PSI method without assistance. MOVI 1.0 enables the user to employ a mathematical model developed according to the simple rules described in the User’s Manual. Thus, MOVI 1.0 can be configured for solving various engineering optimization problems, including the investigation of mechanical systems described in terms of the finite element method in particular.
