Abstract:
Abstract A new-innovative and practical approach is proposed for the assesment of the transfer of technology in the sector of petrochemicals, plastics and elastomers in Greece. The technological assesment is conceptualized as a multi-factor, multicriterion system applied on the petrochemical sector in one Country: Greece. Through this systemic concept some of the cases of technology transfer present a full succes [PVC, Polystyrene, synthetic fibers] and other a failure [Polyethylene, Polypropylene, Polyurethans].
