Abstract: Abstract In this topic we will discuss the importance of alignment between information systems strategy and business strategy, argue the importance of evaluating the performance of information systems initiatives/investments, describe metrics for measuring performance of information systems initiatives/investments, present methods for information systems investment justification, and discuss difficulties associated with justifying information systems investments.
