Chapter Chapter 3 in Introduction to Unconstrained Optimization with R, 2019, pp 35-55 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The language was developed as a statistical programming language for analyzing, modeling, and visualizing the data. The is very popular among the data scientists to handle the large volume of data. It is a well-developed, simple, and effective programming language which supports conditionals, loops, user-defined functions, and input/output functions, etc. The is an open-source program and is freely available whereas the RStudio is an integrated development environment (IDE) which is treated as a front-end for giving us a Console, a Scripting Window, a Graphics Window, and an Workspace, etc. In this book, we write our programs in the Scripts and see the output on the Console, and display the graphs in the Graphics Window provided by RStudio.
