Chapter Chapter 5 in Determining Sample Size and Power in Research Studies, 2020, pp 55-60 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract G*Power is a general power analysis programme, which is meant for determining the sample size and analysing power in research studies. The concept and the procedures involved in determining the sample size in survey studies and hypothesis testing experiments have been discussed earlier in Chaps. 3 and 4 . We will now discuss the procedure of downloading and installing G*Power software. In the following two chapters (Chaps. 6 and 7 ), we will discuss its usage to carry out sample size determination and power analysis in hypothesis testing experiments. The G*Power is a free software which can be easily downloaded from the internet. In this chapter, we shall explain the procedure of downloading this software.
