Chapter Chapter 5 in A First Course in Linear Models and Design of Experiments, 2020, pp 131-163 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract In any statistical experiment, if the number of factors affecting the yield under study is large, then standard designs cannot be used due to the nonavailability of a large number of homogeneous plots. Such situations warrant the study of factorial experiments, which can accommodate a large number of factors influencing the yield.
