A chapter in Contact Geometry of Slant Submanifolds, 2022, pp 333-365 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract The geometry of submanifolds with degenerate (lightlike) metric is difficult and strikingly different from the geometry of submanifolds with non-degenerate metric because of the fact that their (of degenerate submanifolds) normal vector bundle intersects with the tangent bundle.
