Chapter 7 in Transforming Organizations in Disruptive Environments, 2022, pp 101-119 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Once a model of an organization is created, it can be used to identify issues where and why values are not achieved and what needs to create such values in a systematic way. The steps followed are to identify major issues, find their causes, and then to find ways to address these causes. This chapter goes beyond seeing transformation in complex environments as simply solving a “problem” but addresses a wider challenge—such as addressing issues to improve the health of people in a city, respond to a disruption, or enter a new market in a business.
