Abstract: Abstract Capital requirements for real estate are classified into four main categories, namely land acquisition, project development, construction, and sales and marketing. Land acquisition is the process of acquiring land and may include the process of securing entitlements, such as zoning and land use rights. Project development, also called property development, encompasses activities which get the land ready for the construction stage.
