Chapter Chapter 8 in To Establish a Supra-sovereign International Currency, 2022, pp 195-229 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract From the perspective of establishing a supra-sovereign international currency and reforming the current international monetary system, it is of great significance to advance the internationalization of China dollar. Firstly, Since US has derived enormous benefits from having the US dollar as a major currency in international reserves, it has little incentive to advance reforms in the current international monetary system before new crises break out, but rather, it may even hinder reforms.
