Abstract:
Abstract The Decision of the Party’s Third Plenary Session of the Seventeenth Central Committee stated that: “China has generally entered the stage of promoting agriculture through industry and boosting rural development through urban development, which is a critical moment to speed up the transformation of traditional agriculture and push forward agricultural modernization with Chinese characteristics as well as an important period to break the urban–rural dual structure and create a new pattern of urban–rural economic and social integration.” How to deal with the relationship among agricultural modernization, rural industrialization and village urbanization in the face of new situations? Different areas have different local conditions, some focus on industrial development, some highlight urban development and others focus on agricultural development in specific regional development patterns.
