Chapter Chapter 4 in Developing University Social Responsibility, 2021, pp 43-95 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract There are plenty of similarities regarding university information disclosure between China and Japan. In Japan, the Central Council for Education (of MEXT) is the main force behind the promotion of university information disclosure. In China, the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China (henceforth PRC) plays the same role. Therefore, university information disclosure is mandated by the government in both Japan and China.
