Abstract:
Abstract The pandemic caused customers to drastically shift their shopping behavior. This chapter provides a brief introduction into how and why the result of those shifts in behavior created a customer-driven economic recession. Further, this chapter discusses why it is important for firms to better understand their customers new behaviors and uses quotes from customers, executives, and consultants to elucidate the magnitude of the problem.
