Abstract:
Abstract It is in the very nature of anything “quantum” that there is no “one best way.” Therefore, any one quantum society may be a variation on the basic “theme.” Here, I discuss the basic vision, purposes, and values that define any quantum society, modelled on lessons derived from quantum philosophy and implemented through the RenDanHeyi model. The chapter will also include the rights and responsibilities of a quantum citizen, the meaning, purpose, and values of quantum citizenship and their role in societal, global, human, and universal evolution; stress on importance of quantum citizens feeling comfortable with multiple identities, realizing the crucial importance and creativity of social relationships, the power of cooperation, and the responsibilities that accompany the freedom for self-organization. And finally, this chapter will also introduce the idea that a Quantum Society is a community of communities: Just as Haier is a “company of companies”, a quantum society is a community of communities (intellectual, ethnic, religious or spiritual, etc.)—the respect, values, cultural wealth, and opportunities latent in a celebration of diversity in the structuring of society; comparison with role of Haier’s small entrepreneurial units and their members, the relationship between these units, the relationship of all to the umbrella company itself, and the guiding principle of service to the needs of the user/customer.
