Chapter Chapter 7 in Poverty, Food Consumption, and Economic Development, 2022, pp 95-103 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Reducing poverty, eradicating hunger and improving the wellbeing of all people are key development priorities under the United Nations SDGs that are intended to be achieved globally by the year 2030. The analysis undertaken in this book directly contributes to this global agenda by enhancing the understanding of poverty levels through accurate measurement of poverty and thereby enabling the identification of the poorest of the poor.
