Chapter Chapter 20 in Climate Change Economics, 2022, pp 319-344 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The concept of a low carbon economy emerged in the context of fighting climate change. Scientific evidence indisputably shows that human activities are the leading cause of global climate change. In response to the challenges posed by climate change, the international community has agreed on the UNFCCC and the Kyoto Protocol, confirming the principle of “Common but Differentiated Responsibilities” and cooperating to address climate change.
