Abstract The necessity for China to construct combined free trade ports of GBA is discussed in the last chapter. It is China’s inevitable choice when facing domestic and international challenges such as the restructuring of the global economic and trade patterns, the implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative and the promotion of supply-side structural reform.
