Chapter Chapter 5 in Linearization of Nonlinear Control Systems, 2022, pp 157-225 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract In Chaps. 3 and 4 , only the state equation is considered for linearizing the system, and the output equation is still a nonlinear function of the new state variable. Here, we can also find the more restrictive problem that the output equation should also be a linear function for the new state variable. In this chapter, we discuss the linearization of a nonlinear control system with output. Linearization with output equation requires that both input-state and input-output relationships are linear.
