Abstract: Abstract There is a growing need for Human Resource (HR) practitioners to develop strategic foresight, making use of Strategic Human Resource Analytics (SHRA). Leveraging advances in innovative technologies and intelligent systems, HR practitioners can gain better insights from descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive intelligence using data available throughout the employee life cycle. This chapter conceptualizes and establishes the basis of integrating intelligent systems into SHRA. It demonstrates how this integration enhances HR effectiveness, supports strategic foresight, and repositions HR from an administrative support function to a proactive strategic partner. The emerging trends in SHRA are provided, highlighting its relevance for HR practitioners, and showcasing the importance of the regulatory framework for intelligence SHRA and decision-making. With such an evidence-based perspective, the chapter contributes to scholarly and practical debates on how intelligent SHRA can be leveraged to drive workforce sustainability, improve operational efficiency, and organizational outcomes in both public and private sectors.
