Evidence from retail trading” by Shimon Kogan, Igor Makarov, Marina Niessner, and Antoinette Schoar, published in the Journal of Financial Economics in 2024 ( https://doi.org/10.1016/j.jfineco.2024.103897 ). Marina, an Assistant Professor of Finance at Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, kindly agreed to summarize their joint research and serves as the corresponding author for this chapter.
