Abstract: Abstract The ucca subtracted from the planet is the kendra (anomaly). Three rāśis constitute a pada (quadrant). In the odd quadrants, the bāhu and koṭi [are to be found] from the angle covered and to be covered [respectively]. In the even quadrants it is otherwise.
