Abstract: Abstract Of [the two objects] the Sun and the Moon, when [the magnitude of the declination of] one is decreasing and the other is increasing steadily, and when the [magnitudes of] the Rsines of their declinations become equal, then it is vyatīpāta and not otherwise; [The same is called] vaidhṛta if the ayanas are the same and lāṭa when the hemispheres are the same.
