Abstract:
Abstract Effective interface management—defining, controlling, and communicating dependencies among contractors—is essential to avoid delays, cost overruns, and performance issues. The contract structuring, clear definition of responsibilities, and regular coordination meetings can minimize and resolve interface issues effectively. A multi-pronged approach: reducing unnecessary interfaces, clearly defining and measuring interface progress, and providing shared access where feasible helps resolving the issue. The narrative underscores that while contractual obligations assign interface responsibilities to contractors, active client involvement and strategic planning are indispensable for timely and cost-effective project delivery.
