Abstract:
Abstract Before we go into the nuances of project management, it is necessary to lay a foundational overview of project management. Understand the definitions of different terms being used, emphasizing that a project is a unique, temporary endeavour undertaken to achieve specific objectives within defined constraints of scope, time and cost. The changes in one affect the others, and quality is considered an integral part of every project. Infrastructure projects, often capital-intensive and long-lived, require government involvement or private partnerships. Mega and major projects are characterized by their scale, complexity and significant societal impact. Successful project management relies on discipline, resource deployment and monitoring to achieve objectives efficiently and ethically.
