Chapter 11 in Chaos in Complex Dynamical System: Theory and Application, 2026, pp 185-197 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Synchronization of coupled chaotic systems [177–182] with ring connection extends the traditional mode of synchronization from one-to-one into one-to-many. And this synchronization is realized at lower cost and has better flexibility and practicability [183–186]. This chapter discusses synchronization and anti-synchronization of N-coupled complex chaotic systems with ring connection. Based on the direct design method and antisymmetric structure, the appropriate controllers are designed to ensure the occurrence of synchronization and anti-synchronization in an array of N-coupled general complex chaotic systems described by a unified mathematical expression with ring connection. Section 11.1 presents the theoretical analysis. Section 11.2 shows the main results. Section 11.3 explores the synchronization and anti-synchronization of 4-coupled complex PMSM systems.
