Abstract: Abstract This chapter addresses the robust finite-time stabilization [193, 194] of a unified chaotic complex system, considering both certain and uncertain parameters. In practical engineering applications, it is often desirable to stabilize a system as quickly as possible, making the study of finite-time stabilization for chaotic systems particularly important. Achieving finite-time stability in controlled systems relies on finite-time control techniques [195], which have been shown to offer enhanced robustness. The chapter is structured as follows: Sect. 12.1 introduces the definition and relevant lemmas for finite-time stabilization of chaotic complex systems. Section 12.2 provides a description of the unified chaotic complex system. Finally, Sect. 12.3 presents the design of a finite-time stability controller for such systems with unknown parameters.
